At Drop In Espresso Bar, we proudly serve coffee from Ground Control, an independent specialty coffee roaster based in Tweed Heads, NSW. Known for their dedication to quality, sustainability, and bold flavour, Ground Control crafts every roast with care and character.
We’re proud to be the only café in Newcastle currently serving Ground Control coffee. Our house blend, Easy Rider, is a medium to dark roast with rich notes of dark chocolate, hazelnut, and blackberry, a smooth, full-bodied cup that perfectly balances depth and sweetness.
For those who like to explore, we also offer a rotating selection of Ground Control’s other distinctive blends, including OG, Love Bites, Midnight Cowboy, and Major Tom. Each with its own unique flavour profile and personality.
